Spanish stocks rise 0.89 pct on Tuesday

MADRID, May 14 (Xinhua) -- Spanish shares rose 0.89 percent on Tuesday with the benchmark index Ibex-35 opening at 9,046.80 points and closing at 9,127.60 points.
The shares of 24 of the 35 companies trading on the Ibex-35 rose in value, while those of 10 went down and one remained unchanged.
Tueday's best-performing company was the steel producer Acerinox which saw shares go up by 4.59 percent, followed by holiday firm Amadeus with a 3.81 percent rise in share prices, while shares in industrial corporation Tecnicas Reunidas went up by 3.50 percent.
The day's worst performer was energy producer and distributor, Enagas, with a 1.89-percent fall in share prices. Cellulose and energy producer, ENCE Energia y Celusola had 1.88 percent knocked off its share price, while shares in telecommunications group Cellnex Telecom went down by 1.11 percent. Enditem
