NEW YORK, May 17 (Xinhua) -- A 6.0-magnitude earthquake jolted 12km SSW of Taron, Papua New Guinea, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) said on Friday.

The epicenter, with a depth of 27.35 km, was initially determined to be at 4.5786 degrees south latitude and 153.006 degrees east longitude. Enditem
