-- South Africans allegedly may be among the 17 people injured in an explosion which struck a tourist bus near Egypt's famed pyramid on Sunday.
"Initial media reports suggest that South Africans might be among the injured," the South African Department of International Relations and Cooperation said. (News24)
-- The South African Communist Party (SACP) on Sunday denounced what it believed was an attack by the South African Jewish Board of Deputies and Zionist Federation on International Relations and Cooperation Minister Lindiwe Sisulu.
This follows an article by the Daily Maverick on Friday which quoted the board's vice-president Zev Krengel as saying that Sisulu was a threat to the Jewish community in South Africa. (Eyewitness News)
