-- Authorities in Shaanxi Province in China have pledged to send a team of agriculture experts to Zambia and other African countries to help increase diversification in agriculture.
Hanzhong City vice mayor Chen Xiaoyong said Shaanxi Province is in full support of African countries' diversification agenda in the area of agriculture because it is an important area in increasing food security. (Times of Zambia)
-- Acting Chipata District Commissioner Kapembwa Sikazwe has said the government has embraced alternative energy solutions while investing in infrastructure in both electricity and petroleum sub-sectors.
Sikazwe said the government had paid particular attention to the energy sector with a view to increasing the energy mix and remained committed to the provision of quality energy services and products country wide. (The Mast)
