CAPE TOWN, May 26 (Xinhua) -- The following are news highlights in South African major media outlets on Sunday.

-- The African National Congress (ANC) on Saturday congratulated its leader Cyril Ramaphosa on being inaugurated as president of the country.

"We are humbled by the confidence that the people of South Africa, from all walks of life, have shown in his leadership," said ANC spokesperson Pule Mabe.(News24)
