MUMBAI -- Indian markets closed flat on a positive note on Friday.

Among the sectors, except bank and IT, all other indices ended in the red, led by pharma, infra, metal, energy, auto and FMCG.

KUALA LUMPUR -- The Malaysian stock market ended higher here on Friday.

The Kuala Lumpur Composite Index (KLCI) was at 1,649.33, up 5.24 points or 0.32 percent, and the Emas was at 11,580.65, up 42.06 points or 0.36 percent.

PHNOM PENH -- Cambodia's stocks finished higher on Friday, with the Cambodia Securities Exchange (CSX) Index up 4.8 points, or 0.79 percent, to close at 612.23.

The price per share of Phnom Penh Water Supply Authority (PWSA), garment manufacturer Grand Twins International (GTI), and Phnom Penh Autonomous Port (PPAP) rose to 6,000 riel (1.47 U.S. dollars), 4,500 riel (1.1 dollars), and 9,220 riel (2.26 dollars), respectively, the release said.

The 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average gained 110.67 points, or 0.53 percent, from Thursday to close the day at 20,884.71.
