TRIPOLI -- A total of 653 people have been killed and 3,547 others injured in the fighting in and around Libya's capital Tripoli, the World Health Organization (WHO) said Sunday.

"The toll for the ongoing conflict in Libya's capital is 653 dead, including 41 civilians, and 3,547 wounded, including 126 civilians," the WHO said on social media platform Twitter. (Libya-Fighting-Casualties)

BOGOTA -- At least two soldiers were killed and eight others injured in an attack on a military patrol in the northeastern Colombian department of Arauca, Colombia's military reported on Sunday.

SEOUL -- South Korea's economic slowdown continued for three straight months on weak export, a state-run think tank report said Monday.

The Korea Development Institute (KDI) said in its monthly economic report that the economic slump lasted on soft export, though industrial production recently improved a bit.

WELLINGTON -- New Zealand will withdraw its troop from Iraq and reduce military deployment in Afghanistan, announced New Zealand government on Monday.

New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern said that New Zealand will conclude its non-combat Building Partner Capacity (BPC) mission at Taji Military Complex in Iraq in June 2020, when full responsibility for basic training will be handed over to the Iraqi Security Forces (ISF).
