SINGAPORE, June 10 (Xinhua) -- Singapore stocks closed higher on Monday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) going up 0.69 percent, or 21.82 points, to close at 3,188.11.
A total of 1.10 billion shares changed hands with a turnover of 1.04 billion Singapore dollars (about 0.76 billion U.S. dollars). Gainers outnumbered losers by 264 to 134.
The STI index went up 0.64 percent, or 20.11 points, to close at 3,166.29 on Friday. Enditem
