LONDON, June 11 (Xinhua) -- British stocks rose on Tuesday, with the benchmark FTSE 100 Index up by 0.31 percent, or 22.91 points, to close at 7,398.45 points.
Halma, a group of technology companies that makes products for hazard detection and life protection, soared 4.10 percent, the top gainer of the blue chips. Just Eat and NMC Health increased by 3.96 percent and 3.75 percent respectively.
Centrica, a British multinational energy and services company, was the worst performer in the blue chips, with its shares losing 1.84 percent.
