SINGAPORE, June 18 (Xinhua) -- "Audio-Visual China"-International Broadcasting Industry Exchange Conference 2019 was held here on Tuesday at the BroadcastAsia 2019.
The conference is organized by China's State Council Information Office and China's National Radio and Television Administration (NRTA), and co-organized by China Radio & TV Co. for International Techno-Economic Cooperation.
Sun Kelin, vice president of China Radio & TV Co. for International Techno-Economic Cooperation, said at the conference that Chinese participants hope to take the conference as an opportunity to strengthen communication with their counterparts from Singapore and other countries, and promote cooperation between broadcasting industries of China and other countries.
Vice Chairman of NRTA's Committee of Science and Technology Du Baichuan introduced the application of 5G and artificial intelligence in China's broadcasting industry as well as challenges and opportunities the industry faces.
The organizers said broadcasting industry is an important channel for communication among different countries and areas. The conference will further promote communication among broadcasting industries of the Belt and Road countries as well as the cultural exchanges between China and other countries. Enditem
