-- The Zambian government says no scientist in the country should claim efficacy of their products to cure HIV/AIDS without scientific evidence.
Minister of Health Chitalu Chilufya said those involved in research and science claiming that their medicines could cure HIV/AIDS should stop misleading people because currently there was no drug in Zambia that had been proved to cure HIV/AIDS. (Times of Zambia)
-- The Zambian government has approved feasibility studies for projects worth 245 million U.S. dollars to be implemented under the public-private partnerships (PPs) in various sectors.
Minister of Finance Margaret Mwanakatwe said the approved feasibility studies are for projects in the agriculture, tourism, energy, infrastructure and technology sectors. (Zambia Daily Mail)
