NEW DELHI -- At least 14 people were killed and over 50 injured Sunday after a makeshift tent collapsed during a religious gathering in India's Western state of Rajasthan, officials said.

The makeshift tent collapsed during dust storm at Rani Bhatiyani temple, Jasol in Barmer district, about 452 km west of Jaipur, the capital city of Rajasthan. (India-Tent collapse)

BANGKOK -- ASEAN leaders support the negotiations of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) to be concluded within this year, Thai Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha on Sunday told a press conference at the conclusion of the 34th ASEAN Summit held in Bangkok.

The RCEP will help the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) manage change and uncertainty in the region, especially as regards to the trade friction between "ASEAN's important trading partners". (Thailand-RCEP)

PHNOM PENH -- The death toll in the collapse of a seven-story building, which was under-construction, in southwestern Cambodia's Preah Sihanouk province has risen to 17, according to a victims' name list released by the rescue team on Sunday.

The name list said that 17 people were found dead under the pile of debris and 24 others were injured. (Cambodia-Building collapse)

BANGKOK -- Leaders from the members of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) on Saturday adopted Bangkok Declaration on Combating Marine Debris in ASEAN Region here during the 34th ASEAN Summit.

The leaders agree to encourage an integrated land-to-sea approach to prevent and reduce marine debris, and strengthen national laws and regulations as well as enhance regional and international cooperation including on relevant policy dialogue and information sharing, according to the Bangkok Declaration.
