SKOPJE, June 23 (Xinhua) -- The Prime Minister of North Macedonia Zoran Zaev announced the reshuffle of the government including six ministers, the local media reported on Sunday.

Zaev told reporters that the changes will include six ministers, such as the minister of agriculture, environment, finance, culture, local self-government and political system and relations between the communities.

The PM declared that he would take over the position of the Minister of Finance, replacing Dragan Tevdovski for a certain period of time, while also serving as prime minister.

The motion on the government reshuffle containing the names of the new ministers was sent later in the day to the Parliament of North Macedonia.

The office of the Speaker of the Parliament Talat Xhaferi confirmed on Sunday that the motion will be reviewed by the lawmakers at the earliest Parliament session to be announced.

On May 30, Zaev, who is also the leader of Social Democratic Union party (SDSM), confirmed that North Macedonia's government reshuffle would be announced by mid-June after consultations with the governing coalition Democratic Union for Integration (DUI) party leader Ali Ahmeti. Enditem
