CAPE TOWN, June 28 (Xinhua) -- The following are news highlights in South African major news outlets on Friday.

-- President Cyril Ramaphosa on Thursday responded to Public Protector Busisiwe Mkhwebane's notice of investigation into his "alleged violations of the Executive Ethics Code."

In a statement, the Presidency said Ramaphosa had submitted documents the same day which would, hopefully, bring the matter to a conclusion.(News24)

-- Pretoria police said on Thursdayay they're still following numerous leads as they investigate a series of murders targeting homeless men.
