Egypt's president, Kuwaiti emir urge unified Arab efforts in face of regional challenges

CAIRO, July 5 (Xinhua) -- Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah al-Sisi reiterated on Friday the importance of unifying Arab efforts in face of the region's challenges to Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah during a phone call.

Sisi reviewed with the Kuwaiti emir regional files of mutual interest, Egyptian Presidential Spokesman Bassam Rady said in a statement.

The Kuwaiti emir expressed his deep appreciation for Egypt's efforts in the Arab arena to promote regional and international peace and security.

He also strongly hailed the distinguished relations between Kuwait and Egypt, stressing his country's firm support to Egypt's stability and security.

The emir stressed that Kuwait is keen on opening new horizons of cooperation with Egypt as well as maintaining coordination and consultation on issues of mutual interest. Enditem
