WASHINGTON -- U.S. President Donald Trump announced he would not impose quotas on uranium imports despite Department of Commerce's findings that foreign uranium poses a threat to national security.

"At this time, I do not concur with the Secretary's finding that uranium imports threaten to impair the national security of the United States as defined under section 232 of the Act," Trump said in a presidential memorandum released late Friday, referring to the Trade Expansion Act of 1962. ADEN, Yemen -- At least eight members of the Houthi rebel group were killed Saturday in clashes with the pro-government Yemeni forces in the country's southwestern province of Taiz, a military official told Xinhua.

MOSCOW -- The Spektr-RG space observatory, onboard the Russian Proton-M carrier rocket, was successfully launched into orbit on Saturday, Russia's state space corporation Roscosmos said in a statement.
