SYDNEY, July 14 (Xinhua) -- A 6.6-magnitude earthquake jolted off northwest Australia at 13:39 p.m. local time (0539 GMT) on Sunday, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) said.
The shallow earthquake, with a depth of 10.0 km, was centered 202 km west of Broome, a city on the coast of Western Australia, according to the USGS.
The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center in Hawaii has not released a tsunami warning. Enditem
