NEW DELHI -- At least two persons, including a woman and an Indian army personnel, died and several others were injured when a building collapsed in India's northern hilly state of Himachal Pradesh on Sunday.

The incident occurred in Himachal Pradesh's Solan district at around 15:45 local time, Additional Superintendent of Police Shiv Kumar Sharma told Xinhua via phone. (India-Building collapse)

JAKARTA -- A 7.2-magnitude earthquake jolted Indonesia's eastern North Maluku province on Sunday, but was not likely to trigger tsunami, Prio Subandi, an official at the meteorology and geophysics agency said.

The quake struck at 16:10 p.m. Jakarta time (0910 GMT) with the epicenter 62 km northeast of Labuha in the province at the depth of 10 km, the official said. (Indonesia-Earthquake)

NEW DELHI -- Indian and Pakistani officials held the second round of talks Sunday on the modalities of the Kartarpur Sahib Corridor, a pilgrimage corridor for the members of India's Sikh community.

The talks were held at Wagah in Pakistan, near the Wagah-Attari Border. It is expected that the much-awaited pilgrimage would begin in November. (India-Pakistan-Talks)

SYDNEY -- A 6.6-magnitude earthquake has been felt across the state of Western Australia on Sunday and is believed to be the largest to ever hit the state.
