FRANKFURT, July 15 (Xinhua) -- German stocks edged up on Monday, with the benchmark DAX index up 64.02 points, or 0.52 percent, to close at 12,387.34 points.
Global internet technology and financial services provider Wirecard won the most among the blue chips, with its shares up 3.64 percent. Material manufacturer Covestro and semiconductor manufacturer Infineon Technologies rose by 2.96 percent and 2.47 percent respectively.
Telecommunications company Deutsche Telekom lost the most among the blue chips, by falling 1.22 percent. German airlines Lufthansa and multinational chemical and pharmaceutical company Bayer went down by 0.60 percent and 0.34 percent respectively.
German insurance and financial services company Allianz was the most-traded share with a turnover of 170.5 million euros (192.1 million U.S. dollars). Enditem
