FRANKFURT, July 19 (Xinhua) -- German stocks edged up on Friday, with the benchmark DAX index up 32.22 points, or 0.26 percent, to close at 12,260.07 points.
Global internet technology and financial services provider Wirecard won the most among the blue chips, with its shares up 5.52 percent. Automotive supplier Continental and semiconductor manufacturer Infineon Technologies rose by 2.82 percent and 2.03 percent respectively.
Deutsche Bank lost the most among the blue chips, falling 1.20 percent. Multinational software corporation SAP and Pharmaceutical company Merck went down by 1.16 percent and 1.10 percent respectively.
SAP was the most-traded share with a turnover of 420.0 million euros (471.4 million U.S. dollars). Enditem
