AMMAN, July 20 (Xinhua) -- Jordan and Morocco on Saturday agreed on the need to continue efforts at all levels to boost economic cooperation between the two sides, Jordan's state-run Petra news agency reported.

At a meeting with the visiting Moroccan Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Nasser Bourita, Jordan's Prime Minister Omar Razzaz said that the two countries see eye to eye on various issues in the region and the world.

He added that the two countries are in constant coordination on several challenges, including the Palestinian issue.

The two countries also strongly support the right of the Palestinians to create their independent state at the borders of 1967 with East Jerusalem as its capital, Razzaz noted.

Jordan's Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi also held talks with the Moroccan official on Saturday, highlighting the potential for cooperation between the two sides in various arenas.

The two countries agreed on developing a roadmap to expand cooperation in economic, investment and tourism fields, and signed a deal on cooperation in the military and technological areas. Enditem
