BEIRUT -- Lebanese President Michel Aoun on Monday called for more support to secure the safe return for the 1.6 million Syrian refugees residing in Lebanon.
"The region, especially Lebanon, is going through very tough circumstances due to the presence of a big number of Syrian and Palestinian refugees and their impact on the economic wellbeing in the country," Aoun said.

TEHRAN -- Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei on Monday hailed what he called the Palestinian people's "stunning resistance" against Israel.

NEW DELHI -- Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated the country's scientists for the successful launch of the Moon Mission-2, or Chandrayaan-2, on Monday.
