SYDNEY -- After a 21-hour riot that left at least seven youths badly injured at an Australian juvenile detention facility Monday, the New South Wales (NSW) State government has ordered an "urgent independent review" into the matter.

SEOUL -- South Korea's fighter jets on Tuesday fired warning shots at a Russian military aircraft that violated South Korea's airspace above the eastern waters, according to Seoul's Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) cited by local media reports.

The Russian bomber reportedly trespassed in the territorial sky near South Korea's easternmost islets of Dokdo early in the morning. It marked the first time that the Russian military airplane violated the airspace of South Korea.(S. Korea-Russia-Airspace)

NEW DELHI -- India has denied U.S. President Donald Trump's claim that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had asked him to mediate in Kashmir dispute with Pakistan.

"We have seen President Trump's remarks to the press that he is ready to mediate if requested by India and Pakistan, on Kashmir issue. SYDNEY -- A van carrying over 270 kg of methylamphetamine collided with police vehicles parked in front of an Australian police station on Monday morning, with the driver facing court on Tuesday charged with commercial drug supply.
