ANKARA, Aug. 8 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.8 jolted 8 km east of Baklan, Turkey 1125 GMT on Thursday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 37.948 degrees north latitude and 29.6968 degrees east longitude. Enditem
