OTTAWA -- Canada's ambassador to the United States David MacNaughton said Thursday that he will leave his post at the end of the month.

MOSCOW -- Russia and China should exchange information on the interference of the United States in the internal affairs of the two countries, the Russian Foreign Ministry said Friday.

The ministry's spokesperson Maria Zakharova said at a news briefing that Moscow is aware of Chinese statements that the United States interferes in Hong Kong affairs and it treats this information "with all seriousness." (Russia-China-US Interference)

WASHINGTON -- A study published on Thursday in the journal Science revealed that prehistoric humans lived in Ethiopia's Bale Mountains at around 4,000 meters above sea level.

HANOI -- As of Friday afternoon, floods and landslides in Vietnam's central highlands region had killed eight people, announced the country's Central Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Control.
