MANILA -- Eighty Filipinos have been awarded and accepted to study at several Chinese universities this year, the Chinese embassy in the Philippines announced on Friday.
After carefully evaluating several applications, the Chinese embassy said the China Scholarship Council has approved the applications of 80 Filipinos to receive the 2019 Chinese Government Scholarship. (Philippines-China-Education)

KUALA LUMPUR -- Malaysia has filed criminal charges against 17 current and former directors of Goldman Sachs subsidiaries, Malaysian Attorney-General Tommy Thomas said on Friday.

TOKYO -- The Japanese Air Self-Defense Force (ASDF) concluded Friday that the crash of an F-35A stealth fighter into the Pacific Ocean in April was caused by human error and not a mechanical fault.
