UNITED NATIONS -- "Promoting peaceful settlement of disputes through dialogue, approaching the international humanitarian law and carrying forward the international humanitarian spirit are of great significance," Chinese permanent representative to the United Nations (UN) Zhang Jun said on Tuesday.
