TUNIS, Aug. 15 (Xinhua) -- Mohamed Fadhel Mahfoudh, the Tunisian minister in charge of relations with constitutional authorities, civil society and human rights organizations, presented on Thursday his resignation to Prime Minister Youssef Chahed.
"The minister wants to devote himself to his electoral campaign for the legislative elections on Oct. 6," said Mahfoudh's resignation letter published by his ministry.
Serving as president of the Tunisian Order of Lawyers from 2013 to 2016, Mahfoudh heads the electoral list of Project Tunisia party in the district of Sfax. Enditem
