ULAN BATOR, Aug.16 (Xinhua) -- Mongolia's foreign trade of goods rose 9.4 percent year on year in the first seven months of this year, amounting to 8.1 billion U.S. dollars, official data showed Friday.
Exports grew 11 percent year on year to 4.6 billion dollars in the Jan.-July period, while imports rose 7.4 percent to 3.5 billion dollars, according to the Mongolian National Statistical Office (NSO).
Mongolia traded with 143 economies across the world in the period. According to the NSO, most of its export growth came from mineral products, which accounted for 82.6 percent of the total exports. Enditem
