-- The Southern African Development Community (SADC) has commended Zambian President Edgar Lungu for his efforts in promoting peace and democracy in the past one year he has been chairperson of the Organ trauma on Politics, Defense and Security Cooperation.

-- Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA) has impounded seven trucks in the central Zambian town of Kapiri Mposhi using the drone technology the agency recently introduced.
Topsy Sikalinda, the agency's spokesperson said during a test flight, the agency's pilots noticed some trucks hidden in the Bush which had been impounded for illegal entry. (Daily Nation)
