-- Justice and Correctional Services Minister Ronald Lamola said on Tuesday that the judiciary is being criticized "unfairly and in an unwarranted manner," adding that personal attacks on judges should be condemned.

-- A lion owner at an upmarket private reserve just outside Dinokeng Game Reserve, north of Pretoria, was killed by one of his lions on Tuesday.
