Bolton says expecting Zelensky, Trump to meet in Warsaw

KIEV, Aug. 28 (Xinhua) -- The United States expects a meeting of President Donald Trump with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky in Warsaw, Poland, where a ceremony marking the 80th anniversary of the outbreak of World War II will be held on September 1, Interfax Ukraine News Agency said, citing U.S. National Security Adviser John Bolton.

"I expressed our expectations about the meeting of the two presidents in Warsaw, and in the coming days we will work on organizing it," said Bolton during a press conference held on Wednesday in Kiev after his meeting with the Ukrainian president.

Earlier, Zelensky expressed his hope that the meeting of two presidents will happen before the end of this summer.

Bolton's Ukraine visit will last till Thursday, according to the Interfax Ukraine. Enditem
