Kuwait condemns bomb attack in Afghanistan's Kabul

KUWAIT CITY, Sept. 3 (Xinhua) -- Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on Tuesday condemned a terrorist bombing in Afghanistan's capital of Kabul.

In a cable of condolences sent to the Afghan President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani over the attack, the emir expressed Kuwait's strong condemnation of this terrorist act and its rejection of all forms of terrorism.

The death toll in a massive tractor bomb explosion in Afghanistan's capital of Kabul has risen to 16 while 119 others were wounded, the Afghan Interior Ministry confirmed on Tuesday.

Zabiullah Mujahid, a purported Taliban spokesman, claimed responsibility for the attack. Enditem
