MUMBAI, Sept. 5 (Xinhua) -- Indian markets opened higher Thursday on the back of positive global cues.
All the sectoral indices were trading higher, led by the metal, energy, infra, auto, bank and IT. Midcap and smallcap indices were trading with marginal gains.
The benchmark S&P, BSE Sensex opened at 36,851.08, up 126.34 points, or 0.34 percent, compared to its previous close at 36,724.74. Enditem
