BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Sept. 11 (Xinhua) -- Royal Brunei Airlines (RB), the country's national carrier, said that it had been awarded by the Airline Passenger Experience Association (APEX) a Five Star rating for the Major Airline category.

According to RB on Tuesday, the Five Star accolade, the highest level in its tier, was presented to the flag carrier on Monday at the award ceremony held in Los Angeles, the United States.

APEX rating program is based solely on certified passenger feedback and insights. APEX is a non-profit membership trade association dedicated to improving the entire airline passenger experience.

"The award underscores RB's goal to be a world-class boutique airline and is a testament to our team's hard work to deliver the signature RB service both in the air and on the ground," said Karam Chand, RB's chief executive officer.

RB first received the APEX Four Star Major Airline award in 2017. Enditem
