BEIRUT, Sept. 15 (Xinhua) -- Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri said Sunday that a committee comprising Lebanon and donor countries was formed to follow up on the projects within the framework of CEDRE in Lebanon, a statement by Hariri's office reported.

"We have finished our discussions with regard to this committee which will be following up on projects to make sure that they are being implemented in a transparent way," Hariri said during his meeting with Progressive Socialist Party leader Walid Jumblatt.

The CEDRE is an international conference which pledged to release 11 billion U.S. dollars in loans and donations for Lebanon on condition that the country makes serious reforms.

Hariri said that Lebanon will be hopefully capable of launching CEDRE projects in the coming period.

He will meet with French President Emmanuel Macron later this month to discuss details of relative investments in Lebanon. Enditem
