GHAZNI, Afghanistan -- One Afghan has been killed and five others injured as a blast hit a mini-bus carrying students in the eastern Ghazni province on Monday, the provincial governor's spokesman said.

"The gruesome incident took place at 12:30 p.m. local time, killing the driver of the mini-bus and injuring five students," Aref Nuri told Xinhua without providing more details. (Afghanistan-Blast)

HONG KONG -- The change of Hong Kong's rating outlook by Moody's Investors Service lacks factual basis, Paul Chan Mo-po, the financial secretary of the government of China's Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR), said Monday.

MANILA -- Philippine Finance Secretary Carlos Dominguez lauded China's Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) on Monday, calling it "the single largest enterprise in human history" that will bring the Asian economies closer together.

BANGKOK -- More than 1,000 visitors flocked to see the exhibition of China's Terracotta Warriors at the national museum in Bangkok in only three hours after it was opened to the public in Thailand on Monday.
