RABAT, Sept. 17 (Xinhua) -- Morocco and Britain have agreed to sign as soon as possible a post-Brexit bilateral trade agreement, Moroccan Foreign Minister Nacer Bourita said on Tuesday.
The agreement, which is in its final phase, will generate greater trade opportunities for both countries, Bourita told reporters after his talks with British Minister for the Middle East and North Africa Andrew Murrison and Minister of State for International Trade Conor Burns.
The bilateral relations are moving towards the establishment of a genuine strategic partnership, he said.
As Britain prepares to leave the European Union, "it's vital we continue to work closely alongside our valued international partners," said Burns.
Earlier Tuesday, the two sides held the second UK-Morocco Strategic Dialogue in Rabat. Enditem
