PARIS -- A Belgian F-16 fighter jet crashed near the town of Lorient in northwestern France on Thursday, no casualties reported, local authorities said.

ADEN -- A senior commander of the Saudi Arabia-led coalition forces and five of his bodyguards were killed in a bomb explosion in Yemen's southeastern province of Hadramout on Thursday.

TOKYO -- The Bank of Japan (BOJ) on Thursday voted to leave its ultra-easy monetary policy unchanged, despite a number of other global central banks cutting rates to underpin their economies amid uncertainties about global stability and growth.
