Namibia drops work visa requirement for conservation tourism

WINDHOEK, Sept. 20 (Xinhua) -- Conservation tourism will be considered normal tourism and thus will not require work visas, Namibia's Ministry of Home Affairs and Immigration said on Friday.

Individuals who intend to enter Namibia for conservation tourism should just apply for ordinary holiday visas, said the ministry in a statement, calling conservation tourism "an emerging form of tourism."

Conservation tourism gives tourists chances to stay at conservation farms and feed animals to experience the closeness to wildlife. Enditem
