BEIRUT, Sept. 21 (Xinhua) -- "The success of China is considered a success for the whole world's populations," Lebanon's Communist Party chief said ahead of the 70th founding anniversary of the People's Republic of China.

The Chinese experience is "an inspiring human and moral model for the whole world because it sums up the great human thought and experience," Hanna Gharib, the party's general secretary, told Xinhua.

He highlighted the capabilities of the Communist Party of China (CPC) in setting up its priorities with achieving socialism topping the list over the past 70 years and praised the notable achievements of China in the past seven decades led by the CPC.

China has become a model for those who attach great importance to China's intellectual, political and economic experience in achieving socialism, he said.

"The Chinese policy is not separated from the human dimension ... (It) serves humanity in the first place," he said, adding that China is committed to promoting common development and building a better future for the whole world, he said.

He took the China-proposed Belt and Road Initiative as an example, praising the initiative's role in strengthening international cooperation and maintaining world peace.

Gharib said he hopes China can play a key role in helping shape a new world order based on humanity, good neighborliness and mutual benefit.

Harboring great expectations for the CPC, the Lebanon party chief said, "I wish for the Chinese population's continued prosperity, stability and progress towards reaching their desired goal of building socialism." Enditem
