China wins 2 gold medals at int'l innovative product competition in Bulgaria

SOFIA, Sept. 26 (Xinhua) -- Two Chinese companies were awarded gold medals at the International Innovative Products Competition within the 75th International Technical Fair in Plovdiv, Bulgaria's second largest city, the organizers said in a press statement on Thursday.
Huawei Solar was awarded for its smart string inverter in the category "Electronics and Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Information and Digital Technologies, Telecommunications, Office Equipment," it said.
Meanwhile, Shandong Yulong Machine Co., Ltd. received gold medal for its 7th generation centrifugal pellet mill in the "Machine building" category.
According to the statement, a total of 39 products made by companies from China, Russia, Switzerland, Germany, Turkey, Bulgaria and the United States were awarded gold medal -- the highest market award in the Bulgarian industry.
The 75th International Technical Fair kicked off in Plovdiv on Monday and will continue until Saturday, bringing together some 600 exhibitors from 34 countries and regions. Enditem
