CHINGOLA, Zambia, Sept. 28 (Xinhua) -- China-Zambia bilateral relationship is benefiting local community through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) by Chinese enterprises operating in Zambia, a government official said on Friday.

Chingola District Administration officer Maximilian Makasa said Chinese enterprises such as Avic International despite having a huge task of infrastructure development in Chingola were also ploughing back into the community.

"Avic is one of the partners working with Zambian government to ensure improved infrastructure in Chingola and Zambia as a whole," he said.

Makasa was speaking during the handover of a car park in Chingola's central district business by Avic International.

"We are grateful as a government over the good road works done in the mining district on the Coppebelt province," he said.

And Avic international Copperbelt regional manager Han Fuxin said the company has contributed to the community where the firm is operating.

Han said the Chinese enterprise's CSR projects are centered on partnership and cooperation with the local community. Enditem
