BANGKOK -- A total of 13 youngsters were killed and four others injured when a pickup truck overturned on a road in Bangkok's outlying area on Sunday night, police said.

The 13 deceased and four injured youngsters were from Sisaket Technical College. The truck they were riding sharply overturned and hit a roadside power pole on King Keo road in Bang Phli district of Samut Prakarn province, according to deputy National Police Spokesman Pol. Col. JAKARTA -- The number of casualty climbed to 30 with 156 others injured, while around 25,000 people took shelters, a senior disaster agency official said on Sunday after a 6.5-magnitude quake hit Indonesia's eastern Maluku province three days ago.

KABUL -- More than 1 million votes have been counted as tallying in Saturday's presidential election has been continuing, Afghan Independent Election Commission (IEC) announced Sunday.
