FRANKFURT, Sept. 30 (Xinhua) -- German stocks edged up on Monday, with the benchmark DAX index up 47.14 points, or 0.38 percent, to close at 12,428.08 points.
German airlines Lufthansa won the most among the blue chips, with its shares up 2.10 percent. Deutsche Post and material manufacturer Covestro rose by 1.51 percent and 1.36 percent respectively.
European health care company Fresenius SE lost the most among the blue chips, by falling 2.42 percent. Global internet technology and financial services provider Wirecard and Deutsche Bank went down by 2.10 percent and 0.84 percent respectively.
Multinational software corporation SAP was the most-traded share with a turnover of 206.9 million euros (225.3 million U.S. dollars). Enditem
