-- Deputy President William Ruto has been sucked into another land controversy after a human rights lobby demanded an investigation into his acquisition of a 900 acre tract once owned by former Vice-President Joseph Murumbi.
In a letter to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations, the Trusted Society of Human Rights questions the acquisition four year ago of the Intona Ranchland in Trans Mara West sub-county by the DP after paying off a loan owed to the Agricultural Finance Corporation (AFC) by the late Murumbi.
