TOKYO, Oct. 7 (Xinhua) -- Tokyo stocks lost ground Monday morning over concerns for the outlook for the future health of the global economy.
The 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average dropped 63.57 points, or 0.30 percent, from Friday to 21,346.63.
The broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange, meanwhile, fell 2.92 points, or 0.19 percent, at 1,569.98.
Farm and fishery, rubber product and mining-linked issues comprised those that declined the most by the morning break. Enditem
