"It's our first time attending the fair. We are here to see if there's some business opportunities," said Guo Jianpei, general manager of Guizhou Anshun Jiayu New Material Co., Ltd. "I feel quite satisfied till now, as there were some potential buyers coming to our booth to ask about our products ... Besides, a local company also asked us about cooperation in production in the future."

The Chinese firm has brought to the fair its new material product -- autoclaved aerated concrete plate, a kind of environment-friendly product using fly-ash to produce building material. Having been successful in domestic market, it's now trying to enter the European market.

The sample machine on the spot has been sold to a German buyer and after the fair closes, it will be transported to Germany, said Susan Jing, a salesperson of the company.

Established in 2004, G-weike has been selling products to the United States, Canada, Australia as well as European and Southeast Asian countries.

The company has set up an office in Germany and is now trying to explore Central and Eastern European market, such as the Czech Republic, said, Susan Jing, a sales person from the company.

The Brno International Engineering Fair is the most important industrial fair in Central and Eastern Europe, attracting more than 1,600 exhibitors and 80,000 visitors each year.

The main theme of this year's fair is Industry 4.0 and the digital factory, i.e. production digitization, which is one of the main directions of the innovation process.

The trade fair has traditionally been driven by machine tools and forming machines and their accessories, but a large space has also been taken up by other fields. Enditem
