Ethiopian Airlines confirms emergency landing of plane in Dakar

ADDIS ABABA, Oct. 9 (Xinhua) -- Ethiopia's national air carrier, Ethiopian Airlines (ET) on Wednesday confirmed one of its airplanes has made emergency landing in Dakar, Senegal. The plane made emergency landing on Tuesday evening.

In a press statement, ET said a B767-300 aircraft with registration number ET-AMG and flight number ET908 on a regular scheduled service from Dakar, Senegal en-route to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia via Bamako, Mali returned from flight to Dakar airport due to technical problem on Tuesday evening.

ET said it has rebooked all B767-300 aircraft passengers on alternative flights. Enditem
