BISHKEK, Oct. 10 (Xinhua) -- A 5.5-magnitude earthquake has jolted northeast Kyrgyzstan, the Institute of Seismology of the country's National Academy of Sciences said Thursday.
Tremors were recorded on early Wednesday morning, with the earthquake epicenter located in Kazakhstan, the report said.
In populated areas of Kyrgyzstan, a 3-3.5 magnitude earthquake was felt.
According to preliminary data, no casualties have been reported. Enditem
